Monika Drzewicz, a Polish artist currently residing and creating in the vibrant cultural hub of London, brings a rich background in photography honed through her studies at the University of West London, where she earned both her BA and MA in Photography and Digital Imaging. Recognized as a laureate in numerous esteemed competitions, including those of international acclaim, Monika's fine artwork has garnered attention across the UK and Europe, gracing the pages of books, magazines, and esteemed private collections. Her evocative imagery has also found its place in diverse group exhibitions spanning continents. While her journey began with a passion for creative photography, Monika's artistic evolution has seen her delve into new mediums and subject matters, all while maintaining a steadfast dedication to capturing the captivating narratives that define human existence. With a foundation built on years of darkroom expertise, she has seamlessly transitioned into the digital realm, further expanding the scope of her artistic vision. Recently, she have ventured into the world of paint, exploring this new medium to further expand her artistic expression. With brush in hand, she explore the interplay of light and shadow, colour and texture, to create compositions that speak to the soul.
